Waypoint is a free planning resource. You do not need an account to use any of the tools, and we do not ask for personal information to browse the site.

What we collect

We do not run our own database of visitor records. The only data collected comes from third-party services listed below, and only when they are active on the deployed site.

Analytics

When analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools and countries get the most traffic, and whether the site loads properly across devices. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, session duration, and general geographic region. No names, email addresses, or personally identifying details are sent. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

When ads are enabled, Waypoint uses Google AdSense to display contextual advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to show ads based on prior visits to this site and other sites. You can review Google's advertising privacy practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and adjust your preferences at adssettings.google.com.

Local storage

Waypoint saves your language preference and light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to a server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Waypoint links directly to official government pages and public-sector sources. Once you leave this site, those pages have their own privacy policies that apply.

If this page changes in a meaningful way, the date below will be updated. We will not reduce your privacy rights without clear notice.
